This Boutique-Style Hotel, although quite pricey for its hidden and off the beaten track location, has huge potential for a particular guest.
This charming 10 room hotel needs some TLC, but it’s staff makes up for the hotel’s lack of maintenance. You must take a riverside view room (6 of 10 rooms) to make it worth your while, as the surrounding neighborhood is quite rural, not to say adventurous, but safe!
The roof top bar has stunning views, but was closed due to needed renovations. Such a pity!
The riverside restaurant (indoor and/or outdoor) offers limited breakfast options (included with your stay), and an extended evening menu, although quite expensive.
The pool area is extremely small, located in the front of the hotel, not very private and mostly shaded. It looks more like a decorative feature, a reflecting pool to be photographed.
While we were staying, many needed upkeeps were being undertaken; painting, gardening, tile work, repairs and renovations, not intrusive but constant.
All said, we did enjoy our stay. I am sure this hotel, we regain its previous charme and definitely has potential, once all the upkeeps have been attended to.
Since its location is less than desirable, they need to makeup in its offer by creating a more catered approach and experience.
