SO much potential too many things wrong
Booked 3 nights here and had to check out after one night. Billed as a serene retreat away from the city of Bandung, unfortunately, this is not the case. Beautifully landscaped, with art work dotted around, this place has so much potential. BUT, on arrival, the bed had foot marks on it and there were stains on the sheets and duvet covers. I was dubious that the sheets had been washed, as there was an overtly strong smell of fabric freshener and the sheets were wrinkled. No air con. Wire mesh to keep out the insects that didn't work and this also meant a very loud room. Whilst some may find the sound of a river and motorcycles pleasing, I do not. The room had a lot of lizard droppings, the shower was broken and a couple of centipedes walked across the bathroom. The bed however, was very comfortable and of high quality. I thought I could arrange some trips from here, but the wi fi continuously dropped out and there was this annoying message that the number of log ins had been exceeded after a few hours. There was no English on the menu and Google translate was unable to translate all the dishes. The orange juice for breakfast was cordial ( not, as in friendly, but not from an orange!). The staff should have had better language skills considering this is a 4 star establishment. Also the jacuzzi was cold and covered in leaves. When we asked if day trips could be arranged for us, the answer was no. With a smile of course.
