Actual hotel was fine, but the room not so much. First off the hotel staff was lovely. Both gentlemen that I interacted with were very friendly and super helpful. The hotel has pleasing aesthetics (artsy lighting, exposed brick walls, etc.) But once I stepped into my actual room, it was a totally different story. Immediately I was hit with the stale smell of cigarettes and weed. There was a simple blackout shade at the window; no actual curtains. There was a huge stain on the carpet and the lamp shade was ripped off its wire base. The whole room felt like it was due for remodeling. The bed was comfortable. And the hallway and other guests were quiet (or at least I didn’t hear them). You are in the city so you do hear the sirens, car horns, etc. The hotel is about 2 blocks from the convention center, which is way I chose it. We were only in town one night, so all hotel rooms are equal once you close your eyes and go to sleep. But I wouldn’t stay here again.

Great downtown hotel option that is reasonable walk from stadiums. Lots of close by public transit options to get to other parts of city. Staff were kind and responsive. Slept very comfortably. Would definitely stay here again!

You know when you see a looking property on AirB&B and the pictures look nice but once you actually get there, they spent more on the photography and listing than the actual bones and structure of the home? This is that right here. Main issue was that it was noisy. The guests above us were loud and there is not enough insulation in the building. The wood creaks when you walk through the hallways. It prevented good sleep. The windows also allowed copious amounts of street noise. There is no option for blackout curtains for the room we stayed which made it even more difficult to get deep tranquil sleep. Hotel elevator hand rail looks looks like it was installed by a contractor found at home depot. There is plenty of street parking around but meters start at 8am. Saved quite a bit to avoid the valet fees. It was cheap, yes, but will avoid this property next go around.
