"We had a lovely time at this cottage. It was very clean, all the kitchen things you need are provided, and it's right on the lake. The decks and dock were great spots to spend a weekend, and the bbq came in handy. It's close to a town too if you forget anything. Some downsides to note: There was a large tv, but unfortunately the wifi didn't really work, so keep that in mind if that's an important part of your stay. "We were excited about our stay at Rice Lake! But the house had a few problems and it made our stay less enjoyable. The small A/C unit is located in the living room area and not in the bedrooms. So every night was hot, and unable to cool the rooms properly. Second problem was the washer failed on the 2nd day of our stay and the owners did not fix the problem. "Fantastic location and house. So well equipped for cooking and relaxing. Lots of space for the 11 of us to be together, that dining table is amazing, but lots of different smaller spaces for us to hang out in smaller groups. Super clean, comfy beds, fun kayaks and fabulous Sauna. Would highly recommend for family gathering."
