"We had a fabulous stay at Ashside Cottage. We were welcomed by Richard and Caroline who gave us a tour of the house and filled us in on places of interest in and around the area. The cottage was beautiful with parts dating from 16th century. It had everything we needed, including home baked bread. "The property was amazing and communication with Abigail was excellent, it was in an excellent location for our family holiday with a short drive into Belfast and close to motorway links for further trips to Giants Causeway and Derry. Our kids loved the property which was very clean and spacious, more than enough room for ue. I would definitely recommend this property for your trip to Northern Ireland / Belfast"

"the room was comfortable but the whole property was quite clean though quite shabby and the bathroom was damp and there wasn't enough toilet roll and no spares available. the bed was comfortable and bedding clean and fresh. If you think that you are getting the place to yourself as the advert suggests then do not be fooled as you are not. That being said it was pretty quiet other than take away being delivered at 11pm and being in the room next to the front door. The location was really good...

"The property is as advertised except for the “patio.” I’m not sure that is really accurate as it is a small pad at the back of the property, not really a place to sit or anything like that. The neighborhood is fine, a short walk to/from restaurants, etc. The house was comfortable for two couples. We had to find the router in order to find the network and password. Also, it may have been our error but we could not get the towel warmers to work."

"Our stay was great! The owners were very responsive - we only had one towel when we checked in but they got us some more very quickly. They sent over recommendations as well prior to. It was easy to find and the street parking is plenty. We were on the other side of the river of downtown Belfast but was still easy to walk to, about a 20 min walk. Everything was great and the decor added a nice touch. Side note: that the neighborhood has a bunch of food places but are cash only. Not a major...

"A truly wonderful find! Quiet, convenient, clean well appointed cottage, with attentive, friendly hosts. Good parking, near enough (by car) to the Mourne Mountains, Murlough, Tyrella and Ballykinler beaches and Newcastle. About a 45 min drive from Belfast. A great haven for peaceful outdoor pursuits or just getting away from it all. Will happily stay again! "
