"We had a nice and quiet stay at this hotel, until the morning. We did not realize that cruise ships docked there and we were awakened early in the morning by a very large cruise ship. It was our fault for not realizing that really, just be aware. Other than that it was a really nice stay. We arrived late and the young man at the desk accommodated us and let us get a drink at the bar before heading off to bed. "

"This was an adorable lodge/inn. The family room we had was generously sized with a fantastic view. Our hosts were very considerate and helpful and breakfast was so lovely. It was off the beaten path, which is what we wanted and convenient to a few nice coastal towns. I only think the building could benefit from a few outdoor updates because it is so unassuming we didn’t know if we were even at the right place at first."

"Gorgeous spot, we had an unusually sunny evening and had the place to ourselves - it was a Monday - 10 minutes drive to Ballymaloe cookery school and shop, don’t miss it! Jade was at reception and was very helpful and friendly. Room was lovely, you couldn’t top the view, between the harbour, lighthouse and ocean it was spectacular. Had dinner at the hotel restaurant, it was excellent. Will definitely stay again."
