"Stunning from beginning to end! Place was fab and staff all very friendly. Recommend booking the hot tubs. Didn't have dinner because we fell asleep but the breakfast was very tasty. Husband was raving about the pancakes and the apple juice. Would stay here again."

"Only shame about the stay was that i couldn't be around for longer. Only stayed one night, but completely faultless, rooms were lovely, with great beds and pillows. Staff were friendly and helpful and super breakfast. Will definitely stay again when in the area, and hopefully for longer next time! Thanks"

"All staff were excellent at this property. It was super clean. Just one problem- the hairdryer was wires in so couldn’t be moved and the mirror was too far from it so it was difficult to blow dry your hair. Everything else great. "

"The hotel suited my needs. Clean, warm, pleasant staff. Delicious food with generous portions. I was a little dissapointed that the pub and coffee shop they display on their website were closed for the off-season. Yet there are plenty of alternatives within walking distance. I loved the history of the hotel and the pride with which this is displayed. I would definitely stay again. "

"Edmund the Valet at the Abbey saved us by fixing our rental car when it had problems. He was so polite and helpful like all of the staff there. The room was magnificent. The breakfast was good too! "

"The Hotel was great, the staff were great. Overall a great experience. My whole family stayed here with me. We had booked in advance, and it happened to be when there was a very serious storm in Ireland, so we were without power at home, and the hotel had no power, but their generator was working, so they still accepted us, which was great. "We stayed here to weather the storm with the power being out at home. Could not be more impressed with the accommodation here. We expected from the two star rating that it would be basic but all the fixtures and fittings were of a good quality and generally it was a pleasure to stay here. Decided to book again the next night it went so well. "

"Just the most dingy place to stay at such an outrageous price! Maybe if it was cheaper it wouldn’t be so bad but at the price it’s ridiculous! The showers would only work when the hot tap was also running, one shower door was loose and fell off, not to mention the the mold and peeling paint. Just not worth it, spent the extra and stay in a hotel "
