"The room cost €50 so I wasn't expecting the Ritz but I was disappointed there was no hot water for a shower, I had to pay for parking which was meant to be free and no Wi-Fi code anywhere"

They were very welcoming and their B&B was a perfect location just outside of Carrick town center. Our room was warm and cozy. We also really enjoyed our breakfast each morning. "Lovely cabin in the woods, came with all the little extras you often don't think to pack (e.g. towels, condiments, cleaning products, books, DVDs, toys, baby equipment etc). Can't help but relax here, especially on the veranda in the evening, which has a patio heater if needed. No wifi & 6km from town meant my kids aged 15, 13 & 4, took to exploring the woods, finding frogs, playing games, watching DVDs with family while 'home'.
