Love love love
Second time at the Guinness house and it was even better than the first. The house is the most perfect location and is spotless, everything you could need for a family get together. The most comfortable beds we have ever slept in. This place holds a really special place in all our hearts and we can't wait to come back again <3

The most idyllic location and a happy welcoming house
The bedrooms are well planned for mix of quiet and not so quiet or young and not so young! Well equipped kitchen, great selection of books, comfy garden furniture. Pizza oven. Suited everyone with a huge age range! Your service is first class. We had a minor hitch which was dealt with straight away

Beautiful property in a spectatular location
A unique property and unique experience. The house is beautifully done and appointed. Extremely well designed to accomodate a large group (there were 12 of us) comfortably. The location is picture perfect and it is centrally located to take advantage of all the activities in the area....or just sit around and enjoy watching the ocean. It exceeded our expectation.

Exceeded Expectation
The house could not have been more perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have beautiful memories now for years to come. The fireplaces took the edge off the windy November days. The kitchen came fully equipped to feed/serve everyone. Truly lovely!

A perfect family beach house
Our 4th return visit and the best stay yet, mainly due to magnificent weather. The views of the bay with the 12 Bens beyond are breathtaking. Days spent crab finishing, SUP races, swimming and sandcastle competitions. Connemara golf course nearby for the golfers. Sundowners on the patio with a full moon overhead. Only 2 little cons: no clothes line to hang wet towels and the barbecue was much too small for 12 adults and too far from the house. Otherwise everything was perfect.

Great house but check out time is too early
The house is amazing in a gorgeous location, however the check out time is too early especially with all the check out procedures that are required. It resulted in the check out morning being very stressful. The guests should not be required to do so many tasks on the check out morning. Also the drive way to the house is in very poor condition in spots, which could damage cars.

Family gathering in Connemara
The house is wonderful, well equipped for a large family get together with lots of space both indoors and out . Two dishwashers and an extremely well equipped kitchen makes catering for a large group much more practical. We were honoured that the owners trusted us with their collection of books which was so interesting, particularly the guest books from old. A added bonus was having a separate sitting room for the kids with lots of games and a table tennis and small pool table . The kids were on the beach at 7.15am exploring rock pools and playing in the sand . In fact they were outside most of the time which was great . We had super weather and were treated to an incredible light show from the Aurora on our final night . A few torches would be great , otherwise perfect .can we come back please .

One of a kind gem in Connemara!
Myself and extended family stayed in the Guinness house for the third time and definitely not the last! It’s comfortable and warm with all the modern conveniences you could need. The large kitchen and dining table were perfect for everyone to gather after the days’ adventures in the area. Post-dinner table tennis and snooker competitions finished each night off and the comfortable bedrooms set us up to do it all over again the following day! The beach front location and fabulous garden with barbecue and sun deck area would be fabulous in the summer months and there’s so much to do in the area for all ages and abilities. Looking forward to our next visit already! Thank you Connemara lettings.

Another wonderful time in this special house
This was our 3rd time staying in the GH. The weather may not have been perfect but the size and relaxed comfort of the house and the extensive gardens ensured we had another magical stay

A lovely spot to stay with large family and dogs
A lovely comfortable private bungalow on the beach, lovely sea view with lots of garden space. A fully equipped kitchen, with new Smeg coffee machine. The saucepans and frying pans could be updated. The Barbeque outside could also be upgraded, if you are not bringing your own portable one. The large kitchen table is very suitable for large family dining.

A superb house with a beach literally in the front garden
Guinness House is a magical treasure. Situated at the end of a long winding lane in one of the best locations in Connemara. It has good comfortable accommodation and an excellently equipped kitchen, an endless supply of piping hot water and a games room for when the weather disappoints.

Fantastic vacation home. My family will return.
This house is a destination. My family will return often. The weather, beach, and overall house were incredible. The contacts for the house were responsive and assistive. I have already recommended this house to several friends who are planning trips to Ireland.

We will comme back !
Wonderful place, very nice and clean house, irish weather, we will comme back ! For the french guests why not bottles of guinness instead of Chilian wines for welcome presents ? This wine was good however ... thank you very much. Just one thing : you should add a hifi music player with a cd reader in the kitchen.

Fabulous Holiday
We were a group of 8 adults and 4 toddlers and really enjoyed our stay in the Guinness house. Everything including kitchen utensils, bed linen, towels etc was of a high standard. I would certainly recommend this house and look forward to visiting again. Now if only the Irish weather would oblige!!!!

Happy times in a lovely property
The accomodation was super,....comfy, beautifully dressed beds and towels were plentiful and of high quality. All these items I had expected. The house is in a most wonderful location and the layout of Guinness House capitalises on that. The house suited our needs admirably,..., a 'young' family and an 'older' family. Lots of beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms and plenty of play space for all! The house kitchen and laundry was well equipped. In due course, the following needs attention: 1. Larger of the 2 ovens is not working 2. No DVD, despite 'advertised' on website. 3. Heated towel rail in west wing shower room, not working,...as far as I could tell. 4. Maybe secure the gate opening onto the beach,.....safety first! We loved staying in Guinness House and some of our visitors called it ' The Guinness Spa'! Lovely hot showers after a swim at high tide,...and then dinner in a huge kitchen,.....great!

A stay in Paradise...
We were a group of 11 friends, and we had the chance to spend a 4-days week end in the wonderful Guinness House in Ballyconneely. Everything there is perfect: the landscape of course (white sand beach with turquoise blue water, and breathtaking view on Errisbeg), the incredible garden (both sides of the house), but also the house itself, with its numerous rooms, that big kitchen / dining room, and the classy, yet sober decoration. Time has no effect there, hours are seconds, or years, you're never sure! And when comes the moment to leave, you have that unutterable feeling that you were one of the most privileged person on earth...
