RENTER BE WARE: SCAM
This experience was terrible. The host did not provide any instructions on how to access the house, and when I tried reaching out via messaging on the app and the phone number provided, I received no response for hours. I went to the house and there was no way to get in. As I was calling customer service to complain, the host called me back and was clearly out at a bar or restaurant somewhere and sounded intoxicated. At first he didn’t even remember that I was renting for the weekend, and he thought I was supposed to be there 2 days prior. Then he told me he had booked it for someone else to arrive the next day. And then said he can have someone come over and let us in. The entire situation made me very uncomfortable and made me feel unsafe. I had to travel 45 minutes outside of my destination to find a hotel with vacancy for the length of my trip. I am incredibly dissapointed and only hope that customer service does right by me and refunds the cost of the trip.
