Sit on the deck or step down to fire pit over looking the lake. Walk across the private dead end road onto the private dock and drop a line . Fishing for pleasure or the weekly bass fishing contest held at the local marina , you will not be disappointed . If you choose to bring a boat, launching available at private launch , tie up at our private dock. Enjoy stormy days from the many rooms available or sit in front of a warm fire inside. Either choice brings you the serenity and peace needed after a long day. Cooler months bring Autumn colors, take a kayak ride on the lake or hike the local trails. Winter creates ice fishing , ice skating, sking and snow mobile riding across the lake or many other local areas within a short drive.A Large kitchen provides large gatherings with all the needed supplies. Back deck with grill, smoker and large yard . 10 mins to down town Saratoga with restaurants and plenty of entertainment including first night celebration. 30 mins to Lake George , hike , ski, snow mobile ride the Adirondacks. Dont miss the Lake George winter carnival . Plenty of shopping and restaurants within a 5-10 min drive. Albany airport 30 mins if you choose to fly. Convenient location to all amenities. Lakeside family retreat

The property was perfect for our multi-generational family traveling with our canine. Good location away from the hubbub but a short car ride to the Ballston Spa and Saratoga Springs.

Great for Family Get Together

This four bedroom with 2 screened porches and large deck overlooking the lake was perfect for us to visit with family from the area. The house has a large yard with large trees for shade, as well as a large driveway providing plenty of parking. The beds and furniture were comfortable, the kitchen well stocked for cooking, and the main bathroom very spacious with large tub and separate shower. It provided a home away from home feeling. We would definitely stay again.

October Weekend

Nice comfortable house. We had everything we needed. Very clean and comfortable with two nice outdoor seated areas. Great location too. Lots to do nearby. One thing to mention is that the listing says it sleeps 10 but the pullout sofa is on the side indoor patio which you can’t sleep in during cold weather. So some of our party had no other place to sleep but the couch which is right next to the kitchen.. Also, the hot tub is a jet powered tub in the bathroom, not a hot tub.

Such a great location, view and home! So many varieties of outdoor spaces, screened porch, outside deck, firepit, yard, so peaceful and relaxing! Indoors was flawless and super comfortable!

Saratoga stay

We had a great time! You’re house was lovely and fit our needs perfectly. The lake was just what we were looking for. One thing we would’ve liked was a place to put food in the kitchen other than the countertop — at the same time we did love the big sized kitchen packed with everything that we would need!

Home away from Home

We had a wonderful weekend at the house! Cozy home, nice neighbors with no issues, beautiful spot overall. The location was fantastic, very close to town/amenities. This spot on the lake was not the best for swimming, but that has nothing to do with the owners or house itself. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!

Recent trip to Saratoga

We all enjoyed staying at this property and this was the first time visiting Saratoga lake. We brought our boat and was able to launch it at the local boat launch. Our kids and grandkids enjoy paddle boarding and kayaking in the lake. The owners were very responsive to my text messages and even met us ant the property upon arrival at our request.

Patio chair were old and filthy property lists said there was a hot no hot I talked to owner she said hot tub was in main bathroom I said thats no hot tub and it’s false advertisement she said if o don’t like it.i Can leave nice I feel like a deserve a 500 dollar refund for deceiving advertising

Relaxing and fishing

Toad my boat up to do a little fishing on the lake and had a couple of friends at decided to come up and join us the last half of the trip. Plenty of room for all of us was able to get my boat in right across the street and leave it at the dock, which was great. The neighbor Marcus was also very friendly and allowed me to run an extension cord from his house to my boat to charge my trolling motor every night. No complaints at all.

Lake house

The host was very responsive to our questions. Unfortunately, the house had a very musty smell and the water emitted a sulfur smell, therefore, we could not use water for drinking or for showers. We refrained from turning the water on because of the smell. Also, there was a cat that was trying to get in and there was cat dander about. Luckily, we did not have anyone with us that was allergic to cats.

Great house for families with kids - with caveats

Overall, this is a great house to stay in if looking to be in the Saratoga or Albany area with a family. I would stay here again. Two things were detractors: 1) 1 bed + 1 bath are in a converted basement. It's a bit creepy. But the real detractor is the really steep staircase down to the basement that is open into the kitchen. There was a pressure-based baby gate available, but it would fall over with a push. This meant that we had to constantly corral the very fast 2 year old out of that end of the kitchen so she didn't accidentally fall down the stairs. The baby gate needs to be secured to the wall at the top of the stairs. 2) Expect to get yelled at repeatedly by the neighbors if driving faster than a person with a broken foot can walk. We were driving 7 MPH down the short dirt road to the house and a neighbor yelled and shook his arm at us on two occassions. It was off-putting.
