"Front reception was lacking in friendliness and efficiency upon arrival. Dark haired woman was befuddled by my request to have an early check in at 14:05 v. 15:00. She said she would have to reach out to the extensive housekeeping team and made it seem like quite an imposition. I waited for 10 minutes and she never approached me with an answer. "I loved the ambience of the hotel. It was also spotless. The bed was very comfortable and the room was set to a very high standard. Staff were very pleasant at reception and also in the bar/bistro. The swimming pool was a plus. "

"The breakfast was very well done. The pillows could be better. The place was very clean. I think small mirror in the bedrooms would be good as the bathroom is shared. Also i think little tables in the bathrooms would be nice so you would have more place to put your toiletries. Parking was great and convenient. Thanks Peter for your hopitality "

"This was such a wonderful experience to have the opportunity to stay in a beautiful and lovingly restored period home. It truly was like taking a step back in time and like staying in a museum! "The staff are friendly. The rooms are comfortable and had everything we needed. Normally I wpuld say it is quiet and easy to park the car buth they had a fundraiser on so it was busy busy busy. It was difficult to park the car but the reception staff did all they could. A love hotel."

"We had a serene and relaxing visit at Hillcrest B&B. Noeleen is a wonderful host and gave us wonderful suggestions where to visit and hike in Yeats Country and beyond! Our accommodation was clean and comfortable, and our daily breakfast was complete with farm fresh eggs, pancakes, porridge and pastries. "Great family stay, a little dated but overall very nice. Rooms were comfortable and apartment was very spacious and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Some nice trails nearby and stunning views. Close by to Sligo and other areas, plus regular bus if you want to leave the car"
