"The Meadow View Farmhouse was a dream come true. Eamonn was an awesome host. He met us at the house with a wealth of information about the area and even booked us a visit to a local castle viewing. "From the minute we stepped foot into this property, we felt at home. We were met with sparkling clean accommodations, breathtaking views, a bowl of fruit on the table, and coffee and teabags in the counter! The rooms were all comfortable and attractive, the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, towels, tea pots, coffee press, sugar, spices, etc. We had a wonderful holiday at Shannon View, and recommend it highly! The cottage and garden are stunning. We highly recommend staying in the cottage if you are looking for a fairytale. Situated on the outskirts of Mountshannon, you do need transport, but with car in hand you will be able to visit the highlights of the region. just bare in mind local 'R' roads can be narrow with high hedges, and meeting commercial traffic might test your nerves. "Rooms are clean, spacious and beds incredibly comfy. All the staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Both breakfast & dinner were delicious, though the menu did feel a little limited, especially for vegetarian options. Pool/Sauna facilities were clean & well maintained, only negative being that there seems to be no time limit in place. Groups sitting in the hot tub for over an hour meaning no one else could use it. Feel this could be managed better. Overall though a great hotel, walking distance from city centre. Would definitely recommend and stay again."

Lovely stay at the Limerick Strand

"Lovely stay at the Limerick Strand. The room was huge! The bed was very comfortable. It would be ideal for working from, as there is a large desk. There is is a desk infront of a mirror for doing makeup, too - does not always happen in hotels! Huge selection at the breakfast buffet - only one small change there - better sausages :) Added bonus - the pool, sauna and jacuzzi! Would definitley stay there again if in Limerick!"

Wonderful stay

"My family had a wonderful stay. Our room was very clean and spacious, breakfast was lovely. Staff extremely friendly. Only thing I would say is the showers in female changing rooms in the swimming pool should have shower gel in the containers in the cubicles "
