"A lovely place to stay with all the creature comforts we could have asked for. The property is hosted by the exceptional Tony, who checked in with us after arrival to make sure we were happy and see if we needed anything, and better yet, was only too happy to oblige and help out where he could when we did ask for a favour. "Lovely stay, very comfortable..Some minor things to improve but all small things such as cleanliness in kitchen drawers, etc... beds etc clean and comfy enough though.Bathroom nice but tlies very slippery and not great for anyone of a certain age or with a slight disability, but our host happily provided a chair for us which was great.Close to everything and we.thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"

"This was wonderfully suitable for our family of 16 (3 generations) to gather. Enough room to be together (in the living/dining area or outside) and plenty of space for smaller groups or individuals to have some quiet time. I was impressed that there was plenty of crockery and the BBQ and picnic boxes were great. We loved the personal touches - sheet music, books, paintings etc, and the seasonal decorations. I can't recommend highly enough!"

"We booked this property for a family weekend away, we chose it so the adults could relax and the children could play, and it was a perfect setup for that. We enjoy exploring Daylesford during the days and sitting on the deck in the afternoon and night. At dusk ducks and kangaroos also enjoyed the property and the children were so excited to watch on. "House has plenty of character and is in a location that is an easy walk to town. All the amenities catered for our needs. Host was helpful and accommodating to our requests.Found that the single bed in Bedroom 3 is actually a high bunk bed which meant the person planning to sleep there had to sleep on couch as could not climb the stairs. Also Bedroom 4 is bunk beds - not 2 singles - and only accessed via Bedroom 3 which made it not private. Felt the description should have explained the sleeping...

"This is the second time we have stayed at this property. The first time with 4 adults and it was perfect. This time with 8 adults and it was very good, the only negative was the pull out bed for two of the adults was very poor, extremely uncomfortable and not really suitable for adults. Maybe kids might find it comfortable, but if you are booking for all adults like I did, I would not advise to have more than 6. The pool is great, the house is great and the hosts are awesome though."
