Château Léognan
5/5 Excellent
"This is a stunning resort, Properrty. It’s not quite a hotel but rooms that are extremely high-quality with a restaurant and wine tasting and vineyard and other things on site there isn’t really a bar in the evening that we found that she went to the restaurant.
We had a free wine tasting at 6 o’clock, which I think they do every night, but I’m not sure as we only stayed for one night. We did buy some of the local wines that were produced on site.
We we bought our own picnic and it was a sunny day we ate in the gardens on one of the tables provided had our own food and their wine and they provided wine glasses for us. The only other choice for food that you can walk to is there on site Resturant otherwise it is a very remote Property.
As we had an early start, we opted not to have breakfast but I did pop in to see if I could just have some hot water and there was no one really around. However, the food looked okay.
This is a really special place that I felt gutted about leaving. I wished I could’ve stayed longer because it is in such a beautiful setting and to be fair the summer shining which always helps.
