Having a working fireplace made ready for use was lovely. While the kitchen and bathroom were small, they met all our needs. "The house is located in a great location, just above the Market Brae steps, making it central to most places in the city center. The house is old, but very well kept. Two of the bedrooms are located on the second floor and a third, with its own bathroom, on the third. Stairs are a bit of a struggle, if you're not used to them, but not a huge issue. One minor negative is that there is a little bit of street noise from pedestrians on their way out of the city center after the bars closing. Usually...

"Wonderful situation, very quiet. Quite far off main road but that was a bonus. Slight issue with one of the doors but that should be soon fixed. Very helpful host, good communication throughout booking and stay. I would recommend."
