"When we booked this place we spent months excited about it and talking about how cool it would be. And then we got there and it lived up to all of our hopes and more! We stayed for a month and never got tired of the amazing view from the castle to the grounds and from the grounds to the castle. We spent hours hiking in the woods and playing kickball on the main lawn. The kitchen is huge and had everything we needed. Jerome was a dream and arranged for his wife to cook us two french meals, which we absolutely loved. The castle is pretty isolated, but we didn't mind that. And the grocery store we liked was only 15 or so minutes away. There were a lot of bugs in the castle, but they didn't bother us, and we've come to expect that when we stay in rural settings. My husband and our four kids absolutely loved it here and would HIGHLY recommend it!"

"A really pleasant surprise and good value for money, this little hotel on the edge of Evreux to southwest of Paris. Clean, modern , cool, helpful front desk when we arrived late tired and hungry. Restaurant food was simple and tasty and we slept well in confortable beds. Didn’t sample the breakfast but as an inexpensive overnight stay en route to/from Southwestern France for a family of 4 the Brit Hotel did the job nicely . Bonne Sejour à tous! "

"We used the house as a base to go to Olympic events in Versailles and Paris. It was wonderful to come back to the quiet house and we made full use of the pool on our days off! Well equipped and comfortable, we would recommend to anyone needing to get away from the city"

"Stopped over here on Sunday night , lovely village easy parking. Well appointed room , very clean and comfortable Great tray supper as restaurant not open on a Sunday evening, can’t wait to return to try the restaurant too. Good breakfast. Dog friendly and to be recommended "

"This hotel room was below an accceptable level as the toilet facilities were in poor condition. Broken wash basin tap and no toilet seat. Would not recommend."
