"The resort itself was good but too far from city amidst literaly nothing that even it's difficult to get radio taxi at all times of the day forget past 6pm. The reviews showed closer to city but don't fell for it."

"I stayed for two nights. Overpriced resort with unimpressive service. WIFI signal is weak. No room cleaning during the two nights. Breakfast was extremely limited and it took 10 minutes to get a cup of tea. Staff was not helpful, they seemed to be more interested to serve wedding party guests. This resort was more expensive then Indana Palace in Jodhpur, but the latter is 10 times better including much better staff and much better rooms. Stay away from this resort."

"Checkin was not smooth as the hotel said they have not received my booking and it took them several hours to find my booking. At checkout again the receptionist asked for room payment which was already paid during booking. Breakfast menu was very limited and not up to the mark in quality & taste. "

"Terrible experience at Amargarh Resort, poor services, food is unhygenic, charges more but poor guest house service. Food provided was expired. FSSAI must cancel there restaurant license. No room service at all. Never visit this place ever again.... Kamlesh Chauhan"

"I had a terrible experience at this property. On arrival the staff did not share wifi password. They mentioned we can only connect one device which was absurd. We asked for bottle waters like 6 times and they said its paid and we agreed to pay but they never provided water throughout the stay. I requested some salt and they ignored it. The staff members were not helpful and were playing some sorta games all the time. I planned this for my parents but it was very bad experience. The area was good...

"5 star service in a 3 star hotel Look no further. Book this hotel! The negative reviews do not reflect in any way the experience that is offered by the new management. The staff really made the magic happened for us, they were thoughtful, kind and went above our expectations. The rooms are well decorated and super clean, the roof terrace is one of a kind and the small size of the hotel makes it feel like you are at home. If you are confortable with the noise and action of the old city (windows are not sound proofed, but that was not a problem at all for us - you’re in India after all), this is a perfect mix of good location, relatively affordable price and high end service. We would go back in a heartbeat!"

Just beautiful

"Booked for 2 nights, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The gala dinner, though expensive was excellent, music, dance, food, drink and service was exceptional. We stayed in two of the luxury "Tents", which had all the amenities of a normal room and felt special. Close to shops and some restaurants, walking distance. Impeccable hotel, beautiful. Salon near by, really good gym. Winter so pool was out, but too cold in the evening. "

"Gorgeous property with a palace, surrounding beautiful grounds and a huge lake. There are too many features to list. The highlight of the trip was the abundant wildlife in the property grounds. We saw peacocks, owlets, gray langurs and many others. We stayed at the retail suite in the palace and it was a wonderful experience. The staff and management are all very friendly and all do them without exception went out of their way to ensure that our stay was comfortable and memorable. A member of our party had a bunch of dietary restrictions and they were able to accommodate us at every meal. The rooms are spacious with modern bathrooms. You get the old world palace feel with modern amenities. Another highlight was the dining experience, outdoors with fire and kababs served on cast iron serve ware. We enjoyed this so much we dined there every night during our 4 night stay. The grounds are so vast that we didn’t cover all of it. They even have a step well and stables on the grounds. Highly recommend staying here. I’d love to go back some day."

"Excellent staff with great kindness from beginning to the end ! At reception Rajni was so professional and helped us plan our days and guided us through out. We could not see a single mood swings ! Wow 👌 Chef “Santos” prepared our dinner with excellent taste! He was very particular to ask if we wanted something else or we would like to have our half board differently prepared. He was genuinely open minded to satisfy us ! Sushma from Darjeeling working as waitress was just a wow ! She was sooo professional and at the same time very private with without crossing her profession! This girl will go very far in her career! The waiter (do not remember his name unfortunately but he was from Varanasi was sooo helpful and nice to us. His boy like cuteness made us fall for this guy. He totally went out of his way to help us out ! The only thing we were disappointed with was the water system was very poor and needs huge maintenance. We complained every day and they fixed it temporary but after a couple of hours same problems. Another we were not satisfied with is the poor WiFi why I couldn’t work as planned. Even the staff had issues with poor WiFi that much so they hardly were able to charge our credit cards without trying over and over again. "
