"The lake house was great, very clean and loved the updates to the place. There was plenty of room for the 8 of us, 5 adults and 3 kids. The kids loved the paddle boat and fishing off the dock. The host was very helpful and responded quickly, would definitely stay here again."

"My wife and I spent a snowy weekend here, and both the cabin and location were beautiful. We saw deer, hawks, ducks, and other birds. We really enjoyed the quiet retreat. 4 wheel drive was necessary in the snow, but the area was plowed and well maintained!"

The home has everything you'd need for a wonderful break, right down to the marshmallow roasting sticks! We definitely plan to return. Thank yoy for a great stay, our family appreciated it greatly."

"Nice cabin for a couple of families to enjoy a ski weekend. Kitchen was well-equipped and clean. Kids liked the game room. Disappointed that the entrance wasn't shoveled. Icy steps resulted in a slip and fall. Would not advise someone staying if their car doesn't have all-wheel drive as driveway and parking was icy too. Owner does not supply firewood for the fireplace."

"My family stayed two nights for a ski weekend. Very clean place that was nicely decorated and perfect for the five of us. It was close to Caberfae which was what we wanted. We were there Valentine’s Day and the owner was kind of enough to leave some chocolates! One heads up, like many more rural areas the water is hard and not great for drinking so plan to bring some bottled. It was a great stay and we’d stay there again!"

"The cottage is really nice and the location is great. Loved being able to Kayak right in the back and the dock was also nice. The cottage had everything one needs. The porch sunroom was very nice and the wifi was not bad. There is a grocery store about 10 mins away driving. The lake was beautiful and so is the cottage and location. The hosts were great in reponsing to my questions. Highly recommend. "

"My family and I loved our stay at the Lake House Getaway! It was the perfect up north spot to swim, fish, and have fires. The house was VERY accommodating for our 8 month old daughter. Our other older kids loved fishing and going on the kayaks. The lake was very quiet and peaceful. 30 minutes from Ludington was a plus. 10/10 would recommend staying here. We would love to come back! "

"We stayed here so we could have easy access to the snowmobile trails. The property is in the perfect location for that and there are towns that are still close enough for convenience. The home is in really good shape with obvious updates. The beds could be softer but other than that we very much enjoyed our stay."

"This is one of the best rentals we have had. The property is clean, the kitchen & bathrooms were very well stocked, the King size bed is amazing - it was like sleeping on a cloud. We loved the 'axe throw' game in the garage so much we ordered one for at home. We had a fantastic time. It's about 23 steps from the lower patio to the lake. Speaking of patios, these, too, were clean & well-furnished. Highly recommend this property."
