"It was a true blessing to find Renee and her lovely Enchanted Cottage. The accommodations were excellent and her attention to the smallest details made our stay just perfect. Breakfast was delicious!! We could not have found a better place to relax and unwind. We were near enough to Boone and West Jefferson to visit those areas without being near heavy traffic. It was just right!! Thank you, Renee and “crew” for everything. "

"We really loved staying here for a week at the end of June. Sadly the temperatures were above average and the single window air unit was not enough to circulate through out the entire house. We didn't want to leave the windows open while we weren't there because of our four dogs. Also the lack of a fenced yard will stop us from returning. "Daniel, the manager of the property could not have been better, he was very responsive and helped us with anything we needed. The property itself is amazing, exactly as it is in the pictures but they do not truly convey the grandeur of the space. We love old barns, etc and to have something that looked so old (it actually is a 1885 church) that functioned as a new home was perfect. I would highly recommend! "Unfortunately we came during hurricane Helene. We had no power or water but our host was very receptive to messages and provided us with as much info as possible. Praying for all those affect in Western NC. "
