"The room was basic but comfortable and provided everything we needed. The location was excellent, perfectly situated for our purpose. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The food choices were excellent, good value and tasty. Our only complaint was the loud noise coming from the air conditioning unit attached to the bar/restaurant, we had our window open for fresh air and the unit was quite loud. "A lovely hotel where the staff were absolutely wonderful, the kids were over the moon with the biscuits the lady on reception gave us, just a little touch but it was lovely. The room was a little dated but had all we needed and was well maintained and clean which is more important than the era of furniture (think 1990s pine era). The initial lack of signage for the car park had us almost parking out the front in a car park full of pot holes but as we got out we realised the car park was round...

"Lovely room, really nice bathroom fit out. Excellent quality tea, coffee, orange juice etc in the room. Nice variety of self serve breakfast to get when you want. Room was quite loud above the pub until it closed at 11 at night. Overall lovely stay and great value. "

"Staed one night. Greeted at reception by a lovely lady. Very informative and friendly. Room 14 was a bit dated and tired. Bed not that comfortable but huge ! Pillows ok but one too little and 2 too much. Did not sleep well. Could hear every noise from people next door. Paintwork throughout hotel could do with a refresh. Carpets very worn in places. Service and food in restaurant was very good even though they were busy."
