The property enjoys a private garden providing space for children to run around and grown-ups to relax on a sun lounger. There is also a jacuzzi with the most glorious view of the lush surroundings and mountains beyond.
Inside, the recently renovated house combines original features with carefully chosen antiquities, stylish, modern furnishing and beautifully tiled, individual bathrooms. Arranged over three separate floors each characterful bedroom enjoys an ensuite bathroom providing guests space to truly relax and unwind in private. The property uses an environmentally friendly system to heat and cool the house with a 100% renewable energy source, utilising the heat of the ambient air, groundwater or earth.
There are several living spaces on the ground floor. A quiet lounge furnished with a large L-shaped sofa and an armchair; a comfortable breakfast room furnished with a sofa, a large flat-screen TV, a small kitchenette and a dining table for four; and a modern kitchen/dining room fitted with an induction hob, a microwave, a fridge and a larger dining table that seats 10. For rainy days there is a selection of board games.

Location
The property is located in Balatonhenye, a small historic village situated a 15-minute drive from Lake Balaton in Hungary. Lake Balton is the largest lake in Central Europe and visitors can swim, sail, or simply relax on one of the many lakeside beaches that are dotted along its perimeter.
The village is only accessible by one road making it a hidden treasure of peace and tranquillity, ideal for those who want to escape from city life. The surrounding countryside is ideal for hiking and nature walks.
Historically Viticulture has been an important part of life in the local area and there are several wineries nearby including; Dobosi Birtokközpont (an 18-minute drive), and Kecze-Hady Kézműves Pincészet Aszófő, Balogh Pince Pécsely and Csobánc Winery which are all approximately a 30-minute drive from the accommodation. Guests can pair local wines with the flavours of Hungarian cuisine at one of the local restaurants, taverns and eateries that offer a mix of traditional Hungarian dishes.
History lovers will enjoy a visit to the 13th-century Kinizsi Castle in Nagyvázsony (a 28-minute drive). The town is also home to the historic Szent István Church. Those seeking the ultimate relaxation will want to head to the thermal spas at Héviz (a 50-minute drive) or the Kehida Termál spa complex at Kehidakustány (a one-hour drive away) which offers various pools with thermal water, saunas, and other wellness services providing relaxation and therapeutic benefits. The Zala Springs Golf course is also situated just outside Kehidakustány.
