Perfect cottage in quiet location
Laurel Cottage is very comfortable and well maintained, and totally spotless. It’s equipped with high quality furnishings and fittings. The garden is great for sitting out/eating, and a bonus for us in that it was dog proof. Youlgreave is a good location, with lovely walks and wild swimming, several pubs and shops for basic needs. Nothing to criticise, it was perfect l.

Pretty cosy cottage, great location
We really enjoyed our time in this lovely cottage with a pretty garden. Also in a great location with lovely walks just from the doorstop, a couple of pubs and cafes in the Youlgreave village and Bakewell was only 10 minutes drive. We loved the complimentary basket and the board games available provided a good laugh. We had an enquiry about an issue, the owner sounded really nice and resolved it. I think I would definitely come here again whenever I come back to Peak District!

Great homely cottage
Very comfy cottage having everything we needed for a relaxing few days. Cottage was exceptionally clean and ideally located for great walks and getting about the local area. 3 pubs and local shops in village having everything you need. Locals in the village exceptionally pleasant. Would definitely return again. If I had to find anything which could help it would be to but cottage number on final correspondence with renters as the position shown on map is not where cottage is and took a couple of locals to help find cottage from picture., but as I said this is a minute point and doesn't detract from a great cottage.

Laurel Cottage
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Laurel Cottage. Very cosy, beautifully presented, well equipped and immaculately clean. Steve the owner was very communicative and friendly and made us feel welcome from the outset. Lovely surroundings, with great walking right outside the front door, and many other walks with spectacular scenery less than 30 mins drive away. Will come again, and thoroughly recommend this to any one looking for a quiet get-away for a few days.

Lovely little cottage
What a lovely few days myself, my wife and our dog had staying in this charming little cottage. The photos do not do it justice! We really got the wow factor when we walked through the door. It is incredibly cosy and stylishly decorated and the hamper made it extra welcoming. We hope to stay again some time soon :)

Nice cottage in a great location
The cottage was very peaceful and quiet, with lovely walks on the doorstep. Good tv and internet. We did not use the fire but I imagine it would be cosy in the winter. Easy drive to Chatsworth and Bakewell (there is an Aldi there if staying for a while). Nice welcome basket of goodies. Recommend the Bulls Head pub in village. The cottage has a very beautiful garden for enjoying a glass or 2 of wine.

Excellent location
A gem of a cottage, located down a quiet lane. Property has a lovely little south facing garden. Close to all amenities, lovely village with 3 pubs, 2 shops and a cafe. For us a perfect location, parked the car and did not move it for the week. We either walked or cycled from the cottage for 7 days.
