Just two hours from D.C., and about three hours from Baltimore and Richmond, we are perched high above the Lost River Valley. It's the the perfect spot to getaway and recharge for families (with older kids), groups, and couples.
Bright and airy with a modern mountain feel, you will enjoy sweeping views year-round from wrap around porches and practically every room. Thoughtfully laid out, the house provides both comfortable areas to gather and plenty of space to find privacy as needed.
Fiberoptic high speed internet makes being connected & telework and virtual school smooth and can easily support numerous devices at once. T-Mobile, Sprint & AT&T service is good. Verizon, not so much.
Well mannered, calm dogs are welcome! Older children are welcome as well. If you have any questions about the suitability of the house for your family, please let us know.
The top level is open plan, hosting a beautiful well-appointed kitchen with a large island flowing seamlessly into the dining area with a large table, and the living area where you can relax on the large sectional by the fireplace. There is also a large Samsung smart tv with chromecast and Apple TV so you can stream movies etc. from your own device. A large screened in porch off the living room offers dining and lounge areas. Enjoy your morning coffee and watch the sun rise from the porch and you may hear the cattle down in the valley mooing for their breakfast.
