Welcome to D Street Hideaway! You will enter the home into a cozy living room that is perfect for relaxing & chatting with friends, playing board games or curling up with your favorite book! The couch folds out into a bed for two.

Next is the spacious kitchen complete with a picnic table style dining table and room for up to 8 people!

Kick back and get a perfect night's rest in each of the 3 bedrooms- one King bed, one Queen bed & 2 twin beds all with brand-new mattresses for ultimate comfort! The two full bathrooms are directly across the hall from the bedrooms for easy access. There is also a laundry room complete with a full-size washer & dryer!

Last but not least, enter into the spacious and oh-so-comfortable family room with seating for 6! Enjoy the 50-inch Smart TV with access to all of your favorite streaming services!

Exit out the back door of the family room to a spectacular patio with tons of comfy seating, an eating table and umbrellas. Grill up your favorite feasts on the large gas BBQ grill and enjoy the large fully fenced backyard. Take in the amazing sunsets on the patio or the views of the majestic Elkhorn Mountains on the front porch!

The walkability is a definite plus from this home! Located just 1 block from the Baker City Fairgrounds and just down the street from the paved River Walk that runs through town. A quick stroll down the pathway will lead you to all the amazing things that downtown Baker City has to offer!

D Street Hideaway is the perfect home for getaways with family or with friends!

This property features 1 exterior doorbell camera located at the front entrance, one exterior camera located above garage door in driveway and one exterior camera located on the north side of the home by the RV/Boat parking area. We really enjoyed our stay at the D Street Hideaway in Baker City, OR. The home is very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked with pans and tools for cooking. The outdoor space is great and has a lovely grassy lawn for dogs to play in. The hosts were very kind and responsive to our requests.

Baker City Gem
It’s our second time staying at this wonderful home. It is very cozy, clean, spacious and our dogs love the fenced yard! Although it is an older home, the place is tastefully decorated with many modern touches. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathrooms well stocked. It is also very close (walking distance) to the grocery stores and park/walking trail. It is perfect for both couples and families. We’ll surely stay again. Highly recommended!

What a great space! The house appears to be tiny at first, but it just keeps going! Plenty of room to spread out and find a quiet spot. Also, the back deck is a great space!

We came over for a baker hall tournament. The location and space were great. House was very clean. Hosts were great to interact with and very responsive to any questions. I would highly recommend this house for families or friends traveling through baker.

Lovely place for a ski weekend!
We had a great time staying at this well-situated home! The location is fantastic for getting around Baker City and using it as a home base for daytime adventures. The kitchen is well-stocked, there is plenty of bedding, and there is a lot of comfortable seating in the kitchen/dining area as well as the living rooms. And there’s a large well-fenced yard for pups! For us, the only thing that hampered our time was that - especially for my wife’s sensitive nose - the cleaning/perfume smells were quite strong. For most people this may be a benefit! For us, we needed to find ways to tone it way down in order to get comfy.

We really enjoyed our stay at this house in Bakers City. It is very nicely updated and decorated. Really clean and comfortable. It has a well stocked kitchen if you feel like cooking. Good beds with quality bedding. And a nice patio and yard. We felt very much at home. Brian and Amber were great hosts and have thought of everything you might need. We would highly recommend booking it and will definitely book again if we return to Bakers City.

So cozy!!
We really enjoyed our stay, plenty of room for 4 adults to have their space. The back patio was perfect for making breakfast on our Blackstone griddle. We enjoyed coffee sitting on the front porch. Two living rooms for extra sleeping if needed. The kitchen was fully furnished with all supplies needed, and even spices and oils for cooking. The selection of books and games was an added bonus. We will for sure be returning!

We had the most amazing experience staying at this home hosted by Brian and Amber! Cozy and comforting with super outdoor space and secure back yard! Clean, clean, clean! Would not rent again
This VRBO was rented to house our parents and their caretakers. My father is fighting the last stages of cancer and was here to see his grand-children's newly purchased homes along with his new great-granddaughters as an end-of-life wish. Upon first entry to the property, we were greeted by a strong smell of cleaning chemicals. Pine-sol? Solvent? The house was organized and decorated very tastefully. The guest commented on the comfort of the furniture in the back family room. I received a call from the owner the second day of the folks stay. We ask about how to change the temperature in the house as the Ring Thermostat is behind a clear lock box. We have never seen anything like it. As guest we have always been trusted to regulate the temperature at homes we have booked. We ask for it to be turned down from 73 to 70. It was better but seems so strange that we were not able to turn it down in the evenings to sleep without contacting a host. There is also an undisclosed ring camera at the front door...No problem...The property manager giving owner misinformation of 17 guests was! Another Strange incident. We all live in Baker City. Guest complained of musty damp mold smell but no visible evidence other than my father having breathing problems while staying and that the yard was a swamp. Water issues? There was no checkout list. Owner said start dishwasher, lock doors, take out trash. Check! Outside trash was full upon arrival. Was not what we had hoped for folks.

Brian and Amber outdid themselves with this great rental property. They truly thought of everything. I was continually impressed with all the little touches throughout the home, from all the books and games they provided, to the comfortable family room, to the "extras" provided, etc. When you first walk in, you are immediately greeted with a digital wall "tablet" that facilitates your check in process as well as provides suggestions for restaurants in the area. There's even a map on it! The kitchen held wonderful extras including much appreciated water bottles in the fridge to extra coffee creamer and even lots of spices and misc. cooking items in the cupboards. They even have wine bottles for purchase if desired. The bathrooms had nice touches like an adorable flower air fragrance bottle (I ended up purchasing one because I loved it so much), makeup remover packets, and other essential toiletries that might come in handy if you've forgotten to bring them. And the whole house was exceptionally clean. The bed was very comfy and we even availed ourselves of the "black-out curtain" a few mornings so we could sleep in. However, when we weren't out seeing the sites, we spent most of our time in the family room, relaxing and watching tv. I do regret not spending more time on their wonderful back patio, however, but I'll definitely do that more the next time we're back in Baker City!
