"This villa is in a quiet corner of the village of Lavilledieu, yet is convenient for all the Ardeche has to offer. All the rooms are on one floor, and in particular include a large conservatory which opens fully into a small patio which is ideal for eating out. The hosts are very friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. In fact my son was lent a bike to explore part of the countryside at no cost! The pool is also very inviting."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our week at the Villa, with a heated pool for the children (two girls aged 9 and 12), ping pong table and boule for entertainment. An outdoor grill, table outside (and in), parking is easy, lovely trails for running recommended by Paul. The villa is close to the town, just a short walk (15 mins downhill), where you have lovely boutique shops and restaurants. We also booked a canyoning trip. I would highly recommend staying here. "Attractive design and location. Well appointed and equipped. A few minor things: for 6 people, two toilets would be better. Also a shower by the pool would be good. The view is great, but limited by the trees. Some thinning of the trees at the level of the terrace would improve the view. Overall great and would recommend it."

Begrüssung durch einen sehr hilfsbereiten, aber offensichtlich etwas überforderten Jäger (Schwiegerpapa des Besitzers). Die grosse Hitze (bis 37°C) kann leider nicht gut ertragen werden, da Sonnenstoren und Markisen fehlen !!! Nur in den Schlafzimmern wird die Sonne durch dicke Vor-hänge draussen gehalten. So muss man mangels Schatten-plätzen sich sehr oft im dafür aber phantastischen Pool (4 x 12 m)...

Lovely quiet clean hotel

"Very simple check in. Room fresh and clean with very comfortable bed. Quiet location with a restaurant next door if you need to eat. Continental breakfast to set you up for your day. The bathroom towels were a bit on the small side but not really an issue. Altogether a great option to stop off on a drive to Spain. "
