The view was amazing!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 day stay at this property!! There were plenty of dishes, silverware, baking and frying pans but needs more drinking glasses, salt and pepper and pan spray. The beds were very comfortable and cozy. Thank you for sharing!!

Great location
Lovely view and great location. Do not recommend during hot weather, no AC and 1 fan. Not all the windows open and not all the windows that do open have fans.

You won't care about anything but the amazing view
The view, the view, the view! Amazing. Decks and walkways felt a bit unsafe. Carpets a bit sticky and they want you to take your shoes off inside so bring house slippers. Construction next door has no stop and start hours so you'll hear hammering and sawing from sun up to sun down. Decks and walkways feel a bit unsafe, my aunt with arthritis stayed inside the whole time to avoid them. But she had the view.

Great View of Seattle
The house sits on a great spot and oversee the water towards Seattle. House needs to be update, some light switch didn't work. Outside needed some attention to it.

Lots of stairs!
Adequate for our large family gathering. The view is amazing! It's the best feature of this home. The location is wonderful. Yes, as others have stated, the house needs some updates. The carpet could use a good cleaning. The stairs inside did not appear to have been vacuumed. But the main concern is safety; the legs of some furniture are unsteady. The stairs into the home are many and are concrete. During rain, they can be slippery (moss is common in this area on concrete). The wooden handrail at the top of the stairs by the garage is very loose. The wooden walkway/bridge is actually tilting to one side and the wood is squishy in places. The balcony off the kitchen has some wood rot and nail heads protruding in those areas. The property management team "Vacasa" was great and there were no issues with access and communication. areas..rot.side

Needs TLC but has Million Dollar View
This is a large home that can hold 10 people with an AMAING view. The property needs a lot of TLC (paint, railing almost fell down when used, looks like some dry rot on upper balcony) The property was clean but carpet is worn and spotted. I think a homeowners book would have been nice with check out instructions, how to work the TV, and thermostat and perhaps a few recommendations. There was no lighting on the very steep steps down to the house. When there was a change of plan and my 93 year old mother-in-law decided to stay with us, I had family bring a lantern so we could light the way. Also the parking area truly is for two cars. We unfortunately we had our large Ram truck and there was barely room for the other car. Going down the hill and coming back up made it easier to park. A few more kitchen towels left out would be nice also. The BBQ was VERY dirty and we decided to cook our hamburgers inside instead of using it. With all this said, I would definitely consider booking this property again if I had family coming. And that view was amazing!

Rockaway beach getaway
We recieved all our info (access codes, directions, etc) exactly as promised. The home is very aged with lots of cobwebs throughout. Ripped curtain, stains all over the carpet, and light bulbs out in many areas. When we first entered it was 95 degrees with no ac, no fans running to help cool it for our arrival. All that being said, it was large and roomy and accomodated our family of 10 quite nicely. The views are phenomenal. We fully enjoyed the beach during low tide. Totally awesome to see all the sealife living on and amongst the rocks. There were very nice linens, towels, cooking utensils, etc. And the beds were plentiful and comfortable enough. Thank you for allowing our family to stay and enjoy the beautiful ocean and seattle sites!!

Good with some reservations
The view is spectacular. We saw the occassional seal off the beach. Parking was an issue where the property only supports two cars, but the home supports "Max. occupancy: 14 (12 adults)". The price is high for the accomodations. Our bill was neary 2.5x the avg/night value. As others have noted, the home is dated. Some lights aren't working. Access to the beach is difficult for small children or older folks, but not impossible. Need to update, add to the kitchen accommodations. While there were plenty of coffee cups, we couldn't find any regular drinking glasses.

Incredible location. Not Clean! No garage access.
We stayed here with our CA relatives. The location and views are simply breathtaking. Close jaunt to the ferry, easy access to downtown Bainbridge, and those views - incredible. The house itself was not clean at all. We found used meat containers on the grill, cigarette and marijuana butts on the tables, rat droppings in the closets, and more. The garage doors were locked and we could not access them the entire week. We called the rental agency the first night and asked for help with the garage and rat droppings. They said someone would come the next day, no one ever came. Overall it was an ok experience- we would not re visit this home.

Great! Mostly!
It's basically your great aunt's beach house. Couple of updates since it was built during the war, good but not great ones, also some weird ones. Kitchen fan is as strong as a sleepy kitten, stove/fridge/dishwasher are all good enough, etc.. The house itself is whimsical and absolutely lovely. There is no direct beach access, you can scramble over some rocks and it's cool, but high tide comes all the way up - not a great beach for kids, but not bad. The view alone is a reason to go here.

Family getaway
The location of this property is amazing. I was told 24 hrs before our arrival that the outside deck was under construction and we could cancel our stay… which came while much of my family were in transit. Just a bit frustrating and surprising. The furniture and beds were worn and dated. I just was a bit surprised by the conditions

Amazing Location & View
This house has an incredible view across the water of downtown Seattle and a nice beach. The house itself is a bit dated, but got the job done! The two levels do not have an internal staircase, but that didn't cause us any issues.

Amazing view!
You won’t be disappointed with the view from this well loved home. Plenty of space for a large group. There’s no connection between the two living levels so you will need to go outside to get to the upper or lower levels - not really a problem for us. Easy beach access made it even more fun for the kids.

Neglected Property with a Great View.
This rental is two separate spaces: an "upper" and "lower" that do not connect inside (no interior stairs). The property is neglected and lacks sufficient exterior safety lighting. Toilet paper, dishwasher tabs, laundry tabs, and trash bags are not provided so pack your own. The beds and bedding are comfortable. The reason to book this property is for the view of Seattle. The ferry cruising by every 30 minutes is lovely as well.

Not great place for single group
The view from the house is mind blowing, however the house is not designed for single group, no connection between upper & lower level from inside. Furnitures are old and needed repairing/ replace. The property badly needed Landscaping.
