"My wife and I, with our two young teenagers, as well as my 94 year old mother with her beau stayed here the first weekend in August. Our best times on the island were had at the house. Making our daily blackberry crisp from the half acre of berries, as well as a plumb pie from the tree…. Grilling fish, steak, and burgers on the porch grill…. Playing ball at the bottom of the hill out back, running the trails in the adjacent park every morning, hiking in the evening, I wished we had our mountain...

"The wife, dogs, and I stayed here to unplug during a rainy Memorial Day. This property is special! Felt like we were transported back to the 1800s (but with some key comforts like baseboard heaters). We enjoyed zoning out to the crackling fire and looking at the tides go by."

The view is is simply stunning and everyone could view it at the same time- very large open deck with ample comfy seating and dual sliding glass door make it possible to enjoy view from interior as well.
