"Parking was a little tricky but maybe because of the weather when we checked in (snow and cold!). The hotel is lovely (our room was fairly small) but great location and nice staff!"

"When we booked this place we spent months excited about it and talking about how cool it would be. And then we got there and it lived up to all of our hopes and more! We stayed for a month and never got tired of the amazing view from the castle to the grounds and from the grounds to the castle. We spent hours hiking in the woods and playing kickball on the main lawn. The kitchen is huge and had everything we needed. "The room smelt of cigarette smoke and it was obviously a know issues as the window had been open as the room temperature was the same as out side. Other than that the staff were amazing and made my visit a pleasure. Warm smiles and welcoming whenever I passed, Even before I informed them of my problem. The manager should congratulate the staff on their customer service. "

"One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. Architecturally splendid, and a true 5 star hotel. The service was impeccable and the dinner and breakfast were elegant and well done. A great hotel for a romantic few days or a family outing. If you are driving, it is about 50 min from Fountainebleu and 25 minutes from Chartre."

"Though they do not speak much English, we made it work. They were very nice and accommodating, providing a hair dryer and wi-if. It’s a nice, clean, European hotel. The restaurant meal was excellent as well. They also helped obtain a taxi when I had to leave before the office opened in the morning. "

"Notre séjour dans ce gite s'est très bien passé. Il permet d’accueillir de nombreuses familles pour se retrouver le temps d'un WE. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un bon moment et les propriétaires sont très accueillant même si le gite, vu sa grande taille, est un peu froid pour l'hiver. La vue sur le château et le parc sont très sympas."
