Welcome to Roo Retreat, hosted by Simple Life Rentals! This beautiful home is fully updated and ready for your family getaway! Walk to the Kangaroo Lake beach located just 300 yards away, or take a quick 7-minute drive to downtown Baileys Harbor with lots of dining options, shopping and entertainment.

The home has 3 bedrooms, all on the same level. The primary bedroom includes a King bed and Smart TV and primary bathroom includes a walk-in shower, and a nice futon for an extra guest. The second bedroom has a Queen bed and the third bedroom includes 2 double beds.

The front yard has a porch with an outdoor patio set that's perfect for morning coffee. Enjoy the backyard during the evening roasting marshmallows around the firepit. Plenty of outdoor seating for your group!

-Bed linens, pillows, blankets, and bathroom towels. (Please bring your own beach towels)
-A starter pack of essentials which includes toilet paper, paper towel, dish soap, dishwasher soap, hand soap, and garbage bags. Due to septic systems, we do not provide facial tissue. One each of travel size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash per full bathroom.
-PEACE OF MIND Damage protection covers up to $1000 per stay for accidental damage that is reported prior to departure (excludes any pet damage).

We had a great time staying here. The cabin is cozy and inviting, the kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans/utensils, and the accommodations are great. The bathrooms have heated floors which were delightful to walk on. The owners also have a generous supply of fire wood for their guests to use, completing the atmosphere of a cozy cottage retreat.

Nicely updated property. Kitchen is stocked with all essentials for preparing meals. Very nice fire pit and back yard area. Firewood included was a great perk. Would definitely recommend.

Good location by Kangaroo Lake. We were disappointed that 2 of 3 bedrooms were smaller than expected. The laundry area and floors were dirty. No hooks in smaller bathroom to hang clothes and towels on. Nice yard. Glad there were toys for our toddler.

Anniversary Getaway

The house was very nice and cozy for a Fall getaway. We enjoyed being able build a fire and snuggle up together on the couch in the evening. The bed made for a comfortable sleep and the shower was nice and powerful to wake us up in the morning.

Sibling reunion

We had a great stay at Bailey’s Harbor, the location was great. The home had plenty of windows with beautiful views of the wooded property and still offered plenty of privacy. The home was well maintained, and the common area was spacious. We definitely would rent it again.
