"Our stay was for a girls get away. The room we had was really like a small cottage, 2 levels, 2 baths and a full kitchen, living and dining areas. It gave us lots of space to be together and also offered privacy. The accommodations were nicely furnished and clean. The hotel is conveniently located close to restaurants, shopping and a small market offering a wide selection of fresh food. My only suggestions for improvement would be to have coffee in the room as well as in the lobby and to stop using styrofoam coffee cups. I would definitely stay here again. "

The location is perfect...easy access to everywhere in Door County. The host, Michelle, was wonderful with making sure our stay was perfect and she was very responsive to answering any questions we had. We highly recommend this place for a peaceful retreat!"

"This is our second time staying at the Scandinavian. First time was in 2023. Last year we stayed at the Newport. Huge mistake and absolutely terrible experience. We came back to the Scandinavian and so glad we did! Front desk staff are so pleasant and helpful. Our room (209) was wonderful! A huge wrap around balcony, beds are SOOO comfortable and it’s just so cozy! We ended up adding one more night to our trip because of bad weather. (Snow storm and a 5 hour drive home- nope!!) Off season rates are very affordable and definitely worth every penny! Not one negative thing about this place. 10/10 absolutely recommend!! "

"A beautiful stay right on the water, this hotel is a fantastic gem! Located just a mile or so north of Sturgeon Bay, most restaurants will deliver, so you're not that far out of the way that it's inconvenient. Suites come with a full kitchen, so bringing groceries for a weekend is a great way to feel a sense of hone away from home. I highly recommend!"
