This cottage is very small
The cabin looked fine in the app but it was way smaller than we imagined. The second bedroom was not accessible so it really should be advertised as a one bedroom. I can’t fault the host. She was very good communicating with us but it just wasn’t what we wanted. We left a day early.

Un lieu à mille lieu mais pas trop loin de la belle ville de Baie St-Paul.
Nous avons choisi la plus belle fin de semaine pour admirer les couleurs. Le temps doux et ensoleillé a ajouté un facteur plus à notre expérience. Un petit feu à l’extérieur a ajouté aux charmes de l’expérience. Caroline a toujours répondu rapidement à mes questions et était généreuse avec ses suggestions. Un séjour mémorable pour moi et ma soeur.

On n’annonce pas 2 chambres quand il faut se plier en deux pour se coucher sous le toit sur une mini-mezzanine! Dans l’unique chambre, on se serait attendu à un lit queen non à un lit double. Quant aux accessoires de cuisine, 2 seules cuillères à soupe, pas d’égouttoir, pas de sac de compost supplémentaire, pas de théière et 2 petites tasses à café seulement et au moins un accès aux chaînes de télévision. C’est le genre de détail important quand on loue un logement relativement cher. C’est sûr que l’emplacement est magnifique, mais il faudrait revoir un peu le confort.

Nous avons eu un bon séjour au bruant. Les points faibles: odeur de chien parfois présente sur le sofa, confort du sofa laisse à désirer, confort du lit à la mezzanine (trop ferme/dur, terrain peu fréquentable, système audio désuet. Les points forts: le silence du lieu (vraiment très reposant), la terrasse arrière avec vu partielle du fleuve (en partie couverte donc super même si il pleut), le BBQ a l’extérieur, la proximité du centre-ville. En résumé bon séjour mais quand même un peu cher étant donné l’âge du chalet qui s’avère tout de même rustique.
