"This was a clean cosy condo unit in a small 6 unit building. Security was excellent, the pool was clean and the other residents were super welcoming. Highlights were the daily barefoot beach walks and the magnificent sunsets. Both the property owner and the property manager were very helpful. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a quiet relaxing home base from which to explore the Ecuadorian coast."

"Older property, in a dark area with little light. The lobby receptionist was pleasant. Upon arrival, I was welcomed by a friendly receptionist. However, the property's location was poorly lit and outdated. Stay included breakfast from 6 -10 AM, but because their cook had to go to another job, breakfast was from 7-8 AM. "

"I had a comfortable stay here. The A/C works well, and the Wi-Fi was sufficient for my needs. They have a pool and a bar (although I’m not sure how often the bar is open). You will have a key to your room, but to gain access to the compound you will need to ring the doorbell each time you come and go. My Spanish is limited, but I knew I had to pay cash upon arrival. I had a bad experience with a prior hotel, so I wanted a receipt showing that I paid cash. I was told that I couldn’t have a receipt (even after pointing to a receipt pad); but rather they gave me an invoice… fortunately I had no problems, so it was all good. "
