"The villa is spotless clean. They cleaned up the pool twice during our 1 week stay there. The location is fantastic with really great views to see the sunset. In terms of other things to be aware of: the villa next door is under construction and they did a lot of noise and dust during our stay. Also you'll need a car to go around as it is far away from any restaurants or shops. Not a problem for us, but better to be prepared. "The Villa is massive with very large rooms and just about larger en-suite bathrooms! It sits in wonderful grounds and is virtually silent both day and night which suited our requirements perfectly. There were only two of us so six bedrooms is somewhat of an overkill but the villa’s position on the island meant that we could do everything we wanted to do without spending hours driving. "We had a wonderful week at villa Ozeano. The villa is stunning and spacious with a fantastic view over the sea. Outside space is also delightful and immaculate. Very good location with short walks to the beach and restaurants. We would recommend this villa and intend to stay here again in the future. "

The kitchen was one of the best equipped of all the places where we have stayed in Spain, Greece, the UK and the USA, except for a pair of scissors. "Stayed in early December 2017, the villa is lovely. All facilities you need are provided by Filipe for a relaxing holiday. The area is nice and quiet but we loved that. There are a couple of larger towns close by for shops etc and we enjoyed nipping there in the mornings and having a coffee with the locals and watching the world go by. All in all a fantastic holiday, we would recommend and would definitely go back sometime. Thanks Filipe!"

"Here for a one week break and deliberately chose it for reasonable access to Cofete and the beaches around Esmeralda. The drive down from the airport was very easy and finding the hotel was a dawdle too. Food was good and varied, as was the drink. I did feel they were slightly understaffed at times particularly at peak meal times. I would however return, and recommend it to others."

Good food and beach access, terrible coffee

"Great food at both dinner and breakfast, the beach is excellent for walking and swimming. There was unfortunately no kettle for hot water in the room and the coffee at breakfast was undrinkable. Instead of Nescafe machines dispensing low-quality 'instant' coffee, the hotel could have provided a large pot of simple filter coffee for guests. "

"First class property with first class facilities representing excellent value for money on AI basis. The dining and cleaning staff were so friendly and helpful. Only downside was the aloof attitude of the reception staff on arrival and departure who were not even interested enough to ask if we enjoyed our stay. The owners need to address this as it detracts from the other excellent employees."

"Ich fühle mich in diesem Hotel sehr wohl.Habe nach 2022 das Hotel das 2. Mal gebucht und es nich bereut. Direkter Zugang zum langen, feinen Sandstrand, nettes Personal, bei Nachfragen wird gerne geholfen und allgemein eine sehr ruhige Anlage. Sicher gibt es etwas Renovierungsbedarf an manchen Stellen, stört mich persönlich aber nicht. Das Gesamtpaket passt für mich, ich fühle mich wohl dort. Für allein Reisende wäre eine Lösung zur Kennzeichnung des Platzes beim Abend essen und in der Bar schön. Mir ist es des öfteren vorgekommen, dass nach dem Gang zum Büfett mein Tisch zwischenzeitlich neu eingedeckt wurde. Spricht ja eigentlich für das motivierte Personal. In der Bar war nach dem Getränke holen mein Platz durch andere Gäste belegt. Eventuell ein Kartensystem oder ähnliches? Vielen Dank für einen wunderschönen Urlaub!"
