"DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! This place is running a SCAM!!!! I stayed here 2 nights with my family and it has been an absolute nightmare! First of all, upon “check in” we realized that there is no reception. We met the property managers in the parking lot and they brought us to our apartment. "The property was perfect for our trip. Each room has its own bathroom. The rooftop patio was excellent for morning coffee / evening wine and has incredible views of town and the surrounding countryside. Its central location was perfect for exploring Montepulciano and we were close to a car park, so it was easy to get to farms and vineyards. "The apartment is large. Basically 3 separate rooms. 2 on the second floor and 1 on the 3rd floor. I would not recommend for someone that cannot do steps, especially the third floor bedroom, as the bathroom has 3 steps to get down to it. It was a beautiful bathroom but just be aware. I cannot say enough about the host, Syed! He bent over backward to transport us to where we wanted to go. (We did a cooking class about 15 minutes from the city! I highly recommend.) "Our stay at Casamaggiore was perfect. The property was traditionally and simply styled, well supplied and met all our needs. The facilities were as advertised and we delighted in using the pool and tennis courts. The property is perfectly situated for day trips to explore the region. "This large apartment was incredibly beautiful in so many ways. The owners have done an incredible renovation to modernize the experience without sacrificing the charm you hope to experience in this ancient town. it was clean and the linens were top notch. I think I'll install a towel warmer at home after experiencing this luxury. My only advice to future renters is to make sure you arrive at a time where the owner can meet you in person.
