We were spending time at Wyalusing, so the location is perfect for that. The beds are comfortable, the whole place is clean, and the folks that run the breakfast/shop downstairs (and the little shop called 'The Farmacy') are just the nicest people. The shelf of puzzles, games, and books was a great touch.
One thing to note is that it would be hard to sleep in late if you're staying here--you can hear the noise from the restaurant down below, which picks up around 7-8am. Also, the rail line that runs past the town is the busiest I've ever seen. We figure the trains must be obliged (for safety) to sound their horns as they approach the town. Neither one of these things bothered us--we've young boys who're going to be up at 6 at the latest and they were utterly delighted by all the trains. But it might not be for everyone.
The kitchen might be the weak point, being that it has no oven? However, the grills, coffee maker, and fridge were in great condition. We really appreciated having the grill to use. Make sure to pack grill tools and a spatula for the blackstone. You also might want to pack a few extra plates.
