"My family of 7 adults and 2 children had a very comfortable stay at this house. The owner was prompt and very helpful at any time we asked for information or advice. The house is set up to be everything you need to be warm and relaxed in a cold Hobart day."

"Fantastic views of the Derwent River and bridge from both the lounge and kitchen. The property itself was old and tired and in need of updating. No instructions on how to work oven, microwave etc. It had been cleaned prifessionally but not very well, a dust, hoover and wipe down of surfaces. There were cobwebs up and down. We also had problems gaining entry to the property (even though the rental was fully paud for) due to a very stubborn letting agent."

"The house was perfect for our 3 night stay in Hobart. A few minutes to the city in a quiet street. The house was very clean and tidy with good facilities. It has a great view of Mt Wellington! A small suggestion: we needed to buy a dish cloth and scrubber as the dishwasher is only small and there were 7 of us to wash up for."

"The property was lovely and the check in was seamless, they let us check in a bit earlier and leave our bags since we arrived before check in. It was much appreciated. The property was a bit further from downtown that we had initially thought. I did not realize it was 2 miles of hills :) Other than that, it was amazing."

Short walk to nearby store and not far from town, close to Mona etc. Mark, the host, is lovely - extra touch of care given in this experience!"

"We had a lovely stay in Hobart, and the house was wonderfully equipped with everything we needed. However, the location was further out of the centre of town than we expected and up a steep hill. This made it challenging for us, as we were with a family member who can't walk long steep distances, which meant we had to keep chauffeuring them in the car or ordering Ubers. I think the listing title is misleading in terms of location. However, I must commend the hosts on the lovely decor, comfy beds...

"Home built for entertaining & easily accommodates families. Ocean views & privacy are wonderful. Saw kangaroos on the hillside, which was a bonus for us. Definitely recommend this property for a peaceful, beautiful stay. Some car rental companies don't allow "
