"Super convenient location across Leeuwarden train station. It is a small boutique style hotel. I loved the Nespresso machine and the daily capsules complimentary refill, also nice emptied mini-fridge for use and kettle. Room was large and very clean. My room had an outdoor terrace but the view are not nice as they overlook vents and tubes from the restaurant next door. Heating worked perfectly fine. "

"I really enjoyed my two night stay at this hostel. The team at reception were really helpful and friendly. The place opened in August 2024 to at least 4* hotel level. Great cafe and bar on ground floor. The location is very central in the old town and directly opposite Vets concert venue. "The location was not great for walkers/pedestrians coming from the train station or airport to the Big Market SQ. or the Fish market sq. (Central Business Dist.) Also, there was alot of messy construction outside the front entrance, by the highway/freeway. Great hotel though, especially if you drive or are in GRN for a conference/event at the Martini Arena."

"Most of the employers were friendly and helpful. Night shift was very knowledgeable and accommodative. Restaurant staff provided great service. It was called , but there are no portable heaters . Swimming pool and spa , but no robes or slippers in the rooms and not available upon request. That was disappointing. Good location. Quiet , safe . Easy parking. Good food choices . Some front desk gals could use attitude adjustment. "

"The place exceeded our expectations. Lawrence is a first class host. The place is really quirky and well worth the money. Leeuwarden is just a fantastic base in the north of the country and we made a visit to one of the Wadden Islands with a two hour ferry journey which was splendid. "
