"This property was centrally located so that everything in Amsterdam was a short walk away. The host David was so welcoming! The stairs getting to the rooms are no joke, but I knew that going in. Some reviewers have complained about them but Davids's property description is straightforward and indicates the property is not handicap accessible so do your homework and don't underestimate it. Our stay was wonderful, and we would absolutely book here again."

"Really enjoyed the property and our host Fokko was very attentive. Also Jasmine was so diligent and helpfull. Coffee was provided and had room service every day. Although we enjoyed our stay, take notice that there are a lot stairs (Play room was in the last floor). A plus was that our luggage was managed by Fokko an his staff during check in and out, but going up and down daily could be difficult! Thanks Fokko for being a grate host."

"The place was great. It was very convenient and we were able to walk to wherever we needed. The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. I would say that if you’re a light sleeper this may not be the spot for you. You can definitely hear the owners above the room when they’re walking and coming down the stairs in the morning, but if that doesn’t bother you (didn’t bother us) it’s a great place to stay! "

It was a 20 minute walk to the train station, or a 7 minute walk to catch the bus/train. Download the "City Mapper" app to help you navigate getting around. There is a grocery store near by, and the apartment has a refrigerator, stove top, and microwave to conveniently make meals/snacks if you wish. "Beautiful room with excellent facilities. Very handy for the centre of Amsterdam and easy to get to from the airport. Trams every 4 minutes to the centre. Gerry Petra’s husband was great and told us a lot about the area and could not have been more helpful. The house is perfect to stay in in a quiet street right next to Vondelpark. We shall definitely come back and look forward to doing so very soon. An altogether wonderful experience. "

"Such a wonderful place to stay, only one stop away from Amsterdam Central by train, a very short walk to the train station. Uber is also a good option for quick access to the museum district. We got upgraded to a one bedroom apartment with full kitchen and 2 very spacious bathrooms. The size of the apartment is amazing, and decor is so lovely. The staffs are great and very helpful. We really enjoy our stay. "
