"Took wife, daughter and her friend. It was a long way from the nearest autoroute but a lovely drive through France. It took about 7 hours from Caen (will fly to Bergerac next time) The farmhouse was beautiful, clean and spacious. Comfy beds, well-catered kitchen, good WiFi. Nearby (1k walk) Monpazier had everything we needed, 2 x Boulangerie, v important, lots of bars, especially the Bier de la Bastide. The Michelin Star Edward I hotel and restaurant is worth every penny but don't bring young...

"We had a fabulous week, we were met by the lovely Florence when we arrived who showed us around and explained the property. The photographs online do not really do it justice and it exceeded our expectations.The kitchen was well stocked with equipment and all bathrooms had a hairdryer. The separate laundry room with an additional refrigerator was a bonus. The beds were comfortable with extra pillows if needed. The beautiful garden was huge and well maintained with stunning views over the valley....

"We (family of 4 with 3.5 yr old and 1.5 yr old) stayed in June 2019. The property is in a great location near to lots of lovely market towns and villages. Setting is incredibly picturesque. Communication with the owner before our stay was excellent - owners were very helpful with practical and local information. We arrived at the property quite late on a Friday evening. Checkin was easy but if you arrive late, pickup food en-route as many of the local shops and restaurants had already closed....

"The rural setting was perfect - so peaceful - just what we needed. A soaring buzzard and a few tiny lizards in the garden were the only regular visitors 😂!! We loved the house and it was very well equipped, especially in the kitchen with lots of thoughtful touches. The pool is fabulous - a really good size. As it’s not heated, it maybe a tad brisk on cooler days but great as the weather heats up. There were all sorts of games available- including a table tennis table, badminton and a football...

"My friends and I enjoyed our time at Sammy's Farm. Very peaceful place with all you need ! Special mention to Nappie and Benito, the two chickens on the property who bring a bit more fun to the stay :)"

"Karen’s Le Chouettes is a lovely rural property that was perfect for our family. We stayed in the cottage and we found it so well laid out with plenty of privacy for everyone but many common areas to enjoy each others company. We had a few days in April where the kids were able to enjoy the pool. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were of top quality. Plenty of thick towels were also provided. "The house was beautiful, cozy and spacious and it offers a quiet and private get-away. Anne was very responsive to our enquiries and was quick to resolve any issues. Please note that there is very minimal wifi and bathroom towels are not included but can be provided for at a cost of £10 per towel. We had a lovely time!"

"Superbes vacances dans un gîtes tout confort et dans un cadre apaisant avec son petit jardin que notre chien a bien apprécié, il ne manquait absolument rien. Emilie nous a accueilli très chaleureusement, nous expliquant le fonctionnement du gîte et les excursions à ne pas rater!!Nous recommandons très fortement ce gîte. "Excellent communication beforehand. Arranged meal on first night which was excellent. Owners very welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area. The house was so clean, the two bathrooms were a godsend so no hanging about waiting for them to become vacant. Lovely sitting area outside even though it was a bit chilly in the evenings. Local area is full of lovely places to visit."

"Great location, lovely pool! The rooms are spacious. It would. We didn't know until we left that there were some breakfast products available in the building next to the pool. Also, there wasn't any info on the gym. A bit more comprehensive info in English (probably other languages too) would really help. Also, check in time of 5pm is really late, and check out of 10 is too early. I appreciate they need to clean a whole apartment, but its difficult to work with those times."
