"The home and its surrounding were ideal for those who want to relax and enjoy nature. The Host (Andy) and other people we met to include other "cottagers" were extremely friendly and helpful. We even had an unexpected evening delivery of firewood (free of charge) while sitting around the camp fire. On Saturday, there was a Karaoke that was enjoyed by many to include our group. "We were 3 friends who spent 2 nights at this location. We had a most relaxing and peaceful time. The location is not too far from the GTA and overlooks a beautiful lake.The unit was extremely well-equipped and comfortable. Joan met us when we arrived and took us through everything in the apartment, so we were well informed. The hosts were wonderful. Will definitely recommend to our friends."

"We had a few issue with a few things we had to bring our own pots and weren’t told about it so had to go get our own. The owner had some bad previous renters so for the first few days I kept getting messages about what we were doing and where things were coming from. So he was watching us on his cameras. But once i mentioned it to him he stopped messages don’t know if he stopped watching or not but. Other then that we had a huge rain/thunderstorm our first day there the Monday and we lost power...

"Has a great cottage feel but is still close to amenities. The Shearer has a panoramic view of the lake from the screened in porch. It is very convenient to have 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms. Everything worked properly. There are lots of activities available ie: Kayaks, play ground, volleyball etc In an effort to make you guests stay even more pleasurable more detailed cleaning would be recommended. "Second winter break get away as a family in this beautiful cottage !!! Did not disappoint you have everything you need at the place , extremely clean !!!
