"I had an amazing time at Ensana Thermal Hévíz. The hotel is only a short walk from the lake and right next to a lovely park/forest. I had a room overlooking the park and the lake which was nice. The hotel has great facilities, and a large selection of both wellness and medical spa treatments. Staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. The food was nice and they had some vegetarian options and lighter/healthier meals too. The hotel also offers exercise classes during the day and social events most evenings. The only thing thing i didn't like was when they decided to drill holes into the ceiling in the spa area while it was still open and guests were still in the pools. I felt it could have been done outside of spa opening hours instead as it created a lot of noise and guests had to walk through debris falling from the ceiling. Overall I really enjoyed my stay and i will definitely be back."

"5-star review for a 5-star hotel on the shore of Lake Balaton. Most rooms have a small balcony with a lake view so the room configuration is not a rectangle, but there is plenty of room for two people and their luggage. The indoor pool and hot tubs are wonderful, sorry I missed the beer spa with the music! The dinner buffet and the breakfast buffet were magnificent, all of the staff were so courteous. The sunrise view from the balcony was breathtaking and there are walking and biking paved trails around the lakeshore and in the park next door. We would love to return, it was just a wonderful experience!"

"Very pampering experiences. My wife and I took full advantages of various treatments. The breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent. There is a very nice village that is a short walk from the resort. They arranged for a driver to take us from Budapest and back at a very fair price."

"Medical treatments are superb, especially mud application and neck extension therapy. Sauna and pools are superb. The breakfast and dinner buffet food is great. The staff makes you feel welcome there."

"Clean and quiet with good-sized rooms. Not sure where the food complaints came from in other reviews. Breakfast was great with eggs, meats and breads. Coffee could be personalized out of a single cup serve machine with a variety of lattes and espresso based options. Front desk was efficient and helpful. If I have one suggestion, the pillows could be better but great stay."

"This accomadation was truly unique in that it gave direct easy access to the Balaton lake and also the main road with easy parking. It felt like home away from home with wonderful kitchen, incredible shower (often rare in Europe) and cozy amenities such as a swedish dry sauna and large screen TVs. The picnic basket breakfast were a special touch and complimentary use of the bikes was wonderful A great value overall and i would stay again... and again."

"Great hotel. Great restaurant. Diverse rich choice of dishes. Good fast service, Great room with pastry chef. The only problem: We stayed 21 days, only twice they took out the trash and never had wet cleaning. Really liked it. Will come again"
