The "Hufelandstern" apartment, renovated in 2018/2019 in the listed Art Nouveau Villa Volke, built in 1901, lives up to its name. With two bedrooms, a large yet cozy kitchen, a spacious living room with a comfortable sofa bed and a bathroom with a bathtub and an extra guest toilet, this family-friendly, lovingly furnished apartment offers space for up to 6 people.
You can feel the charm of Art Nouveau on more than 100 m² - just through the high-quality prepared wooden floorboards, the original interior doors and new windows, which, however, fully reproduce the original image of Villa Volke.
However, this accommodation is also well suited for trips with good friends.
Bedroom 1 is furnished with a double bed (1.80 mx 2.00 m), bedroom 2 with two single beds. All beds have high-quality slatted frames and back-protecting quality mattresses.
If 6 beds are required, the sofa in the living room can be converted into a double bed. Through the bed box in the sofa, the bedding can be stowed away during the day and the living room can be used by all residents.
Equipped with WiFi, music "system" and flat-screen TV, the Hufelandstern offers all the comforts for a relaxing stay.
Hairdryers, bathtubs with shower facilities, fresh towels, soap and toilet paper can be found in the bathroom.
Nothing is missing in the kitchen either: With a dishwasher, refrigerator with 4 * freezer, stove with oven, kettle, coffee maker, toaster and a wide range of dishes, you can prepare breakfast or cook well. At the large dining table, it becomes cozy for socializing with friends or family to plan the trips and activities for the next few days.
The attractively furnished living room with large sofa offers space for everyone. The flat screen TV with DVD player invites you to home theater evenings. A cozy reading corner offers space to relax and thus a small retreat.
High chair and cot are available. Please inform us if necessary.
When it came to the equipment, it was important to offer the right solution for every age group. Children will find some toys, board games and adults will find everything lovingly furnished, or a DVD player with some films.
The separate entrance is reached via two steps, the apartment itself is located in the basement with a view of the garden. All rooms have daylight windows, so it is friendly, bright everywhere.
Pets are not allowed.
Free parking is possible in the neighborhood.
The Villa Volke, once built by the gardener Volke, who created the spa park in Bad Wildungen, is located in the boulevard Bad Wildungens, between stately houses from the Wilhelminian era and Art Nouveau. The proximity to some spa and rehabilitation clinics offers the opportunity to visit relatives overnight.
The Edersee can be reached in 15 minutes by car. There are a lot of leisure activities waiting for you: from swimming, boating, zoo, hiking trails such as the jungle or cellar forest trail, the treetop path to sailing opportunities and much more. Perfect for every season, but especially summer.
Nature lovers will be thrilled by the 5,700 hectare Kellerwald-Edersee National Park, a world natural heritage. Guided tours with rangers, the National Park Center Kellerwald, BuchenHaus with WildnisSchule and WildtierPark Edersee lead into the newly awakening wilderness of the national park

The Documenta city of Kassel is about 40 km away and is ideal for a day trip to go shopping or a cultural visit. You can easily take the bus from Bad Wildungen to Kassel.
The university town of Marburg with its beautiful location on the Lahn, its castle and many shops, culture, restaurants and bars can be reached from Bad Wildungen by car in about 45 minutes.
