"Rudesheim was our last stop during our 2 week European vacation and we were very happy to stay at Hotel Zum Baeren as it was the best property we stayed at during our entire trip. We have bad allergies and asthma and the staff was able to accommodate our needs fully. Combined with blackout shades and a comfortable bed we had our best sleep during our trip and were able to recuperate quickly from our prior stays in the UK and France. The property is larger than it appears in the pictures and is located just a few minutes away from public parking. It's close to all of the action but just a couple of blocks away from it on a quiet street. We loved walking around the town day and night. We also walked to/from the Niederwald Monument and Eibingen Abbey for beautiful views of the valley covered with vineyards and castles. The staff was awesome and made us feel welcomed the moment we stepped into the lobby. We know enough German to get by but it was very nice having the front desk person fluent in English. She came out from behind the desk and showed us around the property and gave us other useful information on the area. All very much appreciated. When we come back to Rudesheim in the future we will stay at Hotel Zum Baeren without a doubt."

"This was an apartment that included parking in a great location. Once we parked our car we walked everywhere. There was also a washing machine which was great! No dryer though. I would definitely stay again. The only thing I would recommend is watch your emails after you reserve, there is a lengthy check in process that you do online. I didn’t realize this and we arrived and couldn’t get in because I had not completed this (my fault, not theirs) They were extremely helpful and responsive and got us in quickly. Once we figured out the system it was really easy and very secure getting in and out. "

"This is a lovely place to stay in this quaint town. The hotel is a bit of a maze and their underground parking is extremely tight. The breakfast was excellent and service professional and friendly. No problem with speaking English."
