"The staff was hospitable and kind. We paid in advance for breakfast to be included and it was nice, but options were limited. Be prepared to pack lightly because there are no elevators on the property, so you will have to carry your baggage up the steep stairs. Parking is extremely limited with only about 6 spaces for mid size vehicles. We did not dine in for dinner so my review will exclude evening meals. "

"We arrived very late and they stayed around to welcome us. Only a very brief trip for us but I would certainly recommend it. "

"It was great to stay in Ambiente Hotel. the owner host the guests very friendly and make it comfortable. rooms are clean and you can find nice and comfortable self bar in base floor. Breakfast was great and very delicious. !! I will come again and highly recommend this Hotel !!"

"Keurig Hotel zonder poespas, wij hadden een appartement deze was keurig schoon en compleet met kleine keuken met combi oven koelvries combinatie, ruime douche/toilet en Airco zeer vriendelijk personeel. Ontbijt was eenvoudig toch compleet en goed. Leuke bijkomstigheid is dat op de begane grond van het Hotel een Italiaans restaurant gevestigd is (I Due Compari) gerund door 2 Italiaanse families, Zij verzorgden ook het ontbijt voor het Hotel. Heerlijk gegeten en het Personeel zo geweldig...

"The hotel is clean comfortable, and nice. It’s in a good location and close to a tram stop. The only thing that isn’t excellent is that the WiFi is painful slow less than 3 mbps in the room. "

"We stayed for 3 nights in December, the breakfast was good and never busy, staff checking us in wet friendly and polite and spoke multiple languages. The areas itself is ok, it's near a tram stop into the centre of Basel and within close enough proximity to local amenities such as the Co-op to stock up on some essentials for cooking. "Loved this stay. The breakfast buffet is amazing and the staff was very informative about restaurant and helpful in making reservations. Bonus, the tram runs right by the hotel and in addition to flavored water in the lobby there was a small selection of Haribo gummies, so yummy!"
