"We checked into to the hotel on Sunday, October 1st after a 5 hour drive. The self check-in worked fine and we retreived our key. However, upon entering the room, we discovered that the room had not be cleaned from the prior guest. The sheets were dirty, there were pizza boxes in the trash, the towel were wet, and there was hair in the shower pan. Upon calling the hotel's customers service number, no effort was made to clean our room and make things right. Since it was a Sunday evening, we...

"We really enjoyed our stay with Ingrid and Helmut. They truly care about the guests who stay with them. Ingrid took extra time to find times for local tours we were interested in and looked up and printed out the details for our train out of town. As other reviewers have noted, breakfast is fantastic and the room was comfortable. We would definitely stay with them again if we were in the area."
