"We spent a fabulous week in this small but well appointed cabin - 2 adults and 2 kids (13 and 10). We used it as a base to travel the area, going as far away as Baden Baden, Switzerland and closer to Strasbourg and Colmar. Nicole is a lovely host and the welcome gift of local sweet bread was wonderful. Thank you"

"The house is beautiful and spacious--among the nicest rentals we've visited. If anything, it's lovelier in real life than it looks in the photos. Our week didn't go as planned for a handful of reasons, and we ended up spending a lot more time at the house than we intended. I was worried about the energy fees, housebound in winter as we were--but it wasn't bad at all. Under other circumstances, I doubt we'd have gone over. I think having everything itemized as it is with this property works out...

"Great place to stay as a couple with a dog. Very small place, but it is very well equipped. When the sun is out, you can enjoy the big south-facing terrace, when it gets cold you can heat the wood burner (it gets very hot very quickly). Our dog had fun in the big garden, with the neighbouring dogs and the private access to the brook under the nearby hill, as well as all the smells of wildlife (wild boars foraging in the neighbouring woodland, occasional deer viewings). "We had a very pleasant stay at the Chaelt in Raon L`etape. The house is big enough to host 10 guests. There are two freshly renovated bathrooms, the kitchen is well equipped and the Chalet also includes a very big yard. Due to little difficulites during check-in it is only a 4 star rating. The check-in hours online were not the same as confirmed during the booking process. It is mentioned that the host speaks French, English and German, which is not true. The son-in-law speaks a little German...

"What a privilege to be the first guests in this beautiful chalet! It is very tastefully decorated, well equipped (all mod cons) , comfy beds with ensuites in all bedrooms, a large terasse with lovely views and not forgetting the spa area with a jacuzzi and sauna which made our weekend even more enjoyable. We are very happy to have found this little gem and will definitely be coming back!!"

Très jolis, mais on a vite fait le tour et rien à moins d’une heure de route. Autrement belle région et gens sympas."
