Perfect location!
The cabin is convenient to both the St. Mary and Many Glacier Entrance of the park. The cabin is very well equipped and also had a nice trail map and bear spray, a very comfortable bed, and a great host. It’s located on the Blackfeet reservation and is quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed our time there very much.

Needs a change
The owner of this is super nice. I let him know of some problems and he said to review here. First off, the rug by the door had fresh mud footprints when we arrived. There were no toiletries, just empty boxes, and it appears people are lifting the silverware as there were 2 knives. There is only a love seat that faces a trunk. If it is accommodations for 4 there should be at least a place for 4 to sit. There was a table with bar stools but after a long day of hiking it would have been nice to sit in a comfy chair. I say update the love seat as I would not sit on that and put another chair where the trunk is. We had a rainy day and there is no way you can have 4 people function in that house all day. There were gigantic cows in the yard and cow manure everywhere. Cows or bear dumped over all the camping chairs, and it looked like a dump yard. As a company, have everything clean and welcoming for guests. I am sure Steve (again so sweet) would have been appalled at the conditions. Nice view

Fantastic cabin and host!
We had an amazing time at this cabin. Great location, very nicely equipped. Steve, the owner, could not have been a better host. He was incredibly helpful, not just with the cabin, but also his knowledge of GNP, hikes and sights to experience, and general advice. We had an amazing time here, and we highly recommend it!

Cute, Remote, Cabin
Steve’s place is very cute and fully equipped for a short stay about a 15 minute drive to Glacier National Park. We appreciated the kitchen, comfortable beds, washer and dryer and the great music available. It’s small but good for a family of four (two adults in bunk beds actually worked out ok). The cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed; spices, TP, napkins, soaps, etc. Steve was a gracious host and l appreciated his knowledge and assistance.

Nice log cabin for family vacation
Great location, easy checking in process, reasonable priced log cabin with all essentials for family vacation. Enjoyed our stay there. Highly recommended for anyone who wanted to stay close to St. Mary entrance of GNP. Suggest giving a little details regarding the direction to the log cabin. When it comes to the dead end of duck lake road, need to steel towards the left of the fork and drive further down. The property is located on the left side of duck lake road. We had some troubles of finding the property especially for late check in after 9:00 pm. Many thanks to local resident - Kay who led us to proper direction.

Great Cabin
My husband and I stayed at this cabin so that we could hike East Glacier. It was perfect. The cabin was spotless. It has everything we needed in the kitchen, bedrooms and living space. Our host Steve was amazing. He went above and beyond with his hospitality. If you are looking for a peaceful setting within a 15 minute drive to East Glacier, check this place out.

Good base for many Glacier
This is a great base if you want to access the many Glacier area and want to be able to cook and do laundry. The cabin is small, just a love seat for lounging, but is set up with everything you need. The area feels remote but it’s only about 15 minutes to the many Glacier entrance. Get groceries before you get there.

We enjoyed staying in this cozy cabin. It had everything we needed and was very close to the park entrances. Steve was a great host and suggested some activities for us to do while we were there.

Cozy cabin close to Many Glacier
The first night, we were hanging out at the picnic table playing cards around 10:30 and a bear walked right between the two cabins and down the road! Early the next morning, on our way to go hiking Bullhead lake, we saw a large moose in the pond down the road from the cabin! The rustic cabin had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable....new pots and pans, a new gas grill, fire pit, books to read, plus everything as described in the write-up about the cabin. Steve was very friendly and helpful and checked in with us and made sure we had everything we needed. He recommended doing Iceburg lake since Grinnel glacier wasn't fully open and the hike did not disappoint us at all! We would definitely stay here again if we return to GNP in the next few years!

Babb Cabin
The cabin itself was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. However, the area around the exterior of the cabin was overgrown. There was a firepit with chairs in the back, but we had to cut the grass and weeds ourselves in order to use it. This is a very appealing aspect of the cabin, so it was disappointing that it was so neglected that we had to clear it ourselves.

Great week!
The owner, Steve, is amazing. He will help with absolutely anything you need, and just wants you to have fun. I love the East side of the park, so that's important. If you're looking for a lot of night life, shopping, or restaurants, keep in mind this puts you a couple of hours from most of that. If you want to explore, hike, canoe, have a fire at night, see wildlife and a billion stars but still have the perks of a hotel room, this is it! Grill, fire pit, hammock, washer and dryer, lake, canoe, and just a few miles away from St. Mary (Going to the Sun Road) and Many Glacier park entrances.

Great Cabin To Stay At
The property manager (Steve) was very helpful and accessible. Check-In was a breeze as we were given the address ahead of time and there was a key in the cabin for us to use. We REALLY appreciated the secluded location, the fact that there was best spray (as it saved us from spending $40 to buy some we couldn't take home on the plane with us), the washer and dryer, the fully equipped kitchen and the love seat. Some things available but not used were: a canoe for the pond out back, hammock, stove top, grill, fire pit and numerous games for any rainy days. We really would have liked to stay there longer, but the place was booked for the remainder of our trip. *One thing to note is that on your way there, you will be on an Indian reservation. We came to signs warning us to not travel beyond them, so we turned around (as tire tracks indicated many others have done). We later learned, it is okay to proceed past them. The cabin is shortly after these 2 signs up on the hill. But we did get to drive through the whole area around the lake! **Our cell service was great (provider begins with a V) but those in the other cabin did not have cell service. If we go back to Glacier, we will be staying st this location again. If you want to go to Glacier and experience the stillness of the region, this IS the place to be.

Glacier Park Visit
Our family of four enjoyed our stay at this remote cabin. We appreciated the fact that the cabin provided a gas grill along with a fire pit and wood. The kitchen and bathroom are small, but functional and safe. We would stay here again as it's located only minutes from the St. Mary's and Many Glacier park enterances.

Perfect cabin
We loved this 2 bedroom cabin. It is not big. but perfect as a base for visiting Glacier National Park and Waterton International Park in Canada. It is very quiet and in the Duck Lake area.
