Die Karte des Restaurants ist überschaubar und die Küche klientelorientiert, aber handwerklich recht gut. Die Frittenbude ist landestypisch mit überraschend guter Pizza. "Die Anlage liegt super, direkt hinter dem Deich. Viel Ruhe und Privatsphäre. Ideales Ziel für Familien. Bereits unser zweiter Aufenthalt in diesem Jahr. Das Haus selbst ist ok, aber eher spartanisch ausgestattet. Toll war, dass ein Bollerwagen vorhanden ist. Auch gibt es eine kleine Sauna, die wir aber nicht benutzt haben. Insgesamt 4 Schlafzimmer, die alle eine gute Größe haben. Es fehlten uns z.B. ein Toaster, Salz, Pfeffer, Öl, oder ähnliches. Achtung: bei der Buchung werden Unterkunft und...

"Nice location, quiet neighborhood. At the end of the second day on a four day stay the hot water heater stopped. The owner’s agent texted instructions on how to re-start, which did NOT work. No further response from the agent, except at the end where she informed us it had been “fixed” before. We were forced to take cold showers for 2+ days and had no hot water to wash dishes. Very disappointing for a $700+ rental."

"This holiday house is cosy and has a sunny patio. Lots of birds. At night it is peaceful. We love to walk the paths around Scheldeoord, and to walk along the dijk and beach. We have stayed here twice now. and will return to be close to family in Zeeland."
