"Fantastic welcome and advise throughout the short stay, some great typical Portuguese restaurants in the town. The hotel is old but very clean and rooms are spacious. The lady owner could not be of more help"

"Hotel is nice and new. The original room they gave us had an issue with the a/c so they moved us to an upgraded room. Very helpful staff. Beds are nice and firm. Close to the gated old city "

"This place is pure magic. Best room ive ever stayed in (room 1). The staff is amazing. Parking is non existent and you have to pay for municipal parking but once thats done you can walk everywhere. The dinner was great and the breakfast was close to a bed and breakfast place; generous and delicious. Everyone MUST stay here. I cannot wait to come back. Its more than awesome its simply magic and unique. Amazing property with great staff. What a gem!!!"
